Job Description

Position: Accounting Assistant with a concentration in collections.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Willingness to learn
• Positive attitude
• Accounting background

Responsibilities:

• No invoicing or reconciliations
• Contacting customers and exposed to heavy AR
• Sending notices to customers for payment
• Collecting on past due invoices
• Dealing with third-party collectors

Collaboration:

• Working with a team in India (payment application)
• Training provided

Skills:

• Excel proficiency (pivot tables)

Accounting Department Structure:

• AP Associate
• Accounting Assistant
• Payment application/back office team

Software: In-house
