Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant Onsite (Ptree City/Newnan area)

Our client located in the Newnan/Peachtree City area is looking to hire a Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to join their team. This position is open due to growth and will report to the Controller/CFO, making it highly visible.

Duties include:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and payments, including A/R collections.


• Maintain W-9 records for all vendors.


• Manage all 1099 contractor payments and records.


• Run bi-weekly payroll for 20-30 employees using ADP.


• Maintain employee records.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.


• Reconcile bank feeds for bank and credit card accounts.


• Prepare weekly reports for accounts receivable and payable.


• Maintain a comprehensive electronic filing system for all financial records.


• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping.


• Proven expertise in QuickBooks Online Plus (or above), with QBO certification preferred.


• Experience with ADP payroll processing is a strong plus.

Base salary $50k-$60k plus excellent benefits and opportunity for long-term growth.
