Job Description

Our client, a privately held investment management firm, is seeking a Content Writer to join the Marketing Content Team. This role involves creating compelling content to showcase the firm's investment strategies through digital and print media. A background in asset management or financial services is essential. The position is full-time with approximately 2 days per week onsite in Downtown Boston. Responsibilities: Develop marketing materials that simplify complex investment ideas for diverse audiences. Create website copy, strategy descriptions, marketing emails, RFP responses, and social media content consistent with the firm's brand. Draft thought leadership articles by conducting interviews and research, tailoring messages for target audiences. Collaborate with digital marketing teams to produce SEO-friendly content that enhances brand visibility and lead generation. Prepare client communications regarding firm and strategy updates, working with senior leadership and client relations teams. Adapt content for multimedia formats such as videos, podcasts, and webinars. Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance. Stay informed on digital marketing trends and incorporate innovative ideas into marketing initiatives. Required Qualifications: 5-7 years of professional writing experience, especially in asset management or financial services marketing. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields; additional credentials like MBA, CFA, CAIA are a plus. Ability to translate complex financial topics into accessible language across various formats. Experience writing for wealth management audiences and optimizing digital content. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards in investment communications. Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention to detail skills. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
