Executive Director – Conway Workshop Association

Make a Difference in Digby, NS | Permanent, Full Time | Reporting to the Board of Directors

What You’ll Do:

• Inspire a culture of person-centered care, respect, and excellence.
• Guide our vision and strategy, working closely with the Board and sector leaders.
• Oversee a variety of programs and services, including residential homes, day programs, and social enterprises, ensuring clients are engaged in meaningful activities and fully integrated into the community.
• Advocate for clients and support staff in creating innovative, evolving programs that respond to changing needs.
• Build partnerships and champion service improvements for Digby County.
• Secure resources and funding to keep our programs thriving.
• Lead with transparency, integrity, and a commitment to community impact.
• Ensure compliance with provincial standards and Board policies, while maximizing funding and operational efficiency.
• Support and empower managers and staff with training, resources, and opportunities for growth.

Who You Are:

• An experienced leader (5+ years in senior management) with a background in health or related fields.
• A strong communicator and team builder, ready to foster creativity and growth.
  

• Skilled in strategic planning, financial management, and navigating Nova Scotia’s healthcare landscape.
• Driven by a desire to make a difference and help others succeed.
