Under the direction of the Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Food Administrator I, CF plans, organizes, and directs all food service and dietary activities
at the Correctional Treatment Center (CTC), including the therapeutic diet program in the institution.
Minimum Qualifications:One year of experience in California state service performing the duties of a Dietitian.
Experience: One year of experience in a hospital as a dietitian, nutritionist, or food service manager, with responsibility for the technical direction of a group of diet pantry employees. and
Education: Equivalent to graduation from college and completion of an approved internship in institutional management or dietetics. (Membership in the American Dietetic Association or eligibility for such membership may be substituted for the required internship.)
Experience: Three years of experience as a dietitian, nutritionist, or food service manager with responsibility for the technical direction of a group of dietary unit employees, one year of which must have been under the supervision of a professionally trained dietitian. and
Education: Equivalent to graduation from college with a Bachelor's Degree in Foods, Nutrition, or Institution Management.

Candidates new to CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to appointment followed by department annual TB testing/evaluation thereafter.
