At Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Novartis company, we are committed to leading innovation in nuclear medicine and delivering the next generation of targeted radioligand therapy to cancer patients. We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical leader to help us reach our ambitious goals.

The Manufacturing Head is responsible for leading a manufacturing facility in achieving objectives in Safety, Supply, Cost, Quality, and People for a GMP Radioligand Therapies Production Site. This leader will translate Novartis strategies into actionable plans, oversee capital projects, improve operational efficiencies, and ensure CGMP compliance, quality, service, and people development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Production, HSE, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Science & Technology activities.
2. Lead the site leadership team, monitor performance, and drive cross-site collaboration.
3. Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and other regulations.
4. Coordinate planning to meet manufacturing objectives efficiently.
5. Collaborate on process and procedure standardization across sites.
6. Establish production and quality standards with functional leadership.
7. Develop and communicate the site strategic plan.
8. Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for site employees.
9. Lead site meetings to ensure compliance and address company initiatives.
10. Foster a respectful and supportive work culture.

Essential Requirements:

1. BSc in chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in leadership, including sterile manufacturing.
3. Strategic thinking and enterprise focus.
4. Experience working in a matrix organization.
5. Ability to analyze data and communicate outcomes effectively.
6. Deep knowledge of cGMPs.
7. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
8. Effective communication and leadership skills.

Desirable Requirements:

• Training in radiochemistry or radiopharmaceuticals.
