Pediatrician - MD / DO - Hope, IN Visa Candidates welcome
35 clinical hours per week - - usually spread over 4 or 4.5 days per week (usually 4 days and includes a late night until 7pm)
Only Pediatrician in this clinic but onsite partners are (1) FM physician and (1) Family Nurse Practitioner and (1) LMHC/LCSW
-there are 7 other Pediatricians in our Network; so call is 1:8
-in this practice, there is a wide range of ages. Some babies but less than our other sites.
-lots of BH issues in this population so MD would need to be comfortable with ADD/ADHD, etc
Competitive Salary and Benefits
Sign-On Bonus: Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00)
1. Base Compensation: $235,000.00
2. Rural Practice Incentive: $20,000.00
3. Performance-Based Incentive Bonus: Family Practice / Internal Medicine physicians
can earn a potential incentive bonus of 64% of the Base Compensation ($235,000) based on the
number of patient visits seen. This is reconciled and paid out on a quarterly basis. Please refer
to the attached Comp Model Examples for more detail.
4. Employee Benefit Plans: (Please see the attached Employee Benefits Summary for more
information).
a. Health / Dental / Vision Insurance: Anthem / Lincoln Financial / Principal
b. 401K Retirement Plan: 3% contribution after 90 days of service (w/Quarterly Entry Dates)
c. Life & STD/LTD Disability Insurance: Premiums 100% paid by WHN
d. Paid Time Off (PTO): one hundred-sixty [160] hours per year (4 weeks)
e. Continuing Medical Education (CME) time off: forty (40) hours of CME per year (1 week)
f. Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance: $5,000.00 per year
5. Medical Liability / Malpractice Insurance: WHN clinicians are covered under the Federal Torts
Claims Act (FTCA), which means your medical liability is handled through the U.S. Attorney General’s
Office in the same manner as if you were a Federal employee.
6. Other Benefits:
a. Sign-On Bonus: Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) upon receipt of a signed contract.
b. Board Certification Exam Expenses: up to Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00)
towards the cost of completing your Board Certification Exam.
