Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of a Program and Project Supervisor in the Transportation Fuels Data Collection Unit within the Energy Assessments Division (EAD), the incumbent independently performs at the full journeyperson level varied, complex, technical, and analytical work on the topics of energy generation and use in the petroleum refining industry, including combined heat and power applications.

The incumbent may evaluate petroleum refinery power generation and use in relation to refinery operations and evaluate associated costs to the refineries to support the evaluation of a refining margin and to track performance to a margin cap, if developed by the CEC.
