Prep Cook
This is for NEW TownePlace Suites Miramar Beach Destin. The role is anticipated to start between June 2, 2025 and June 9, 2025. Prep Cooks are to receive, store and prepare raw ingredients and transform them into appropriate ingredients using specific and exacting guidelines and recipes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, store and prepare raw ingredients and transform them into appropriate ingredients using specific and exacting guidelines and recipes
- Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistent preparation according to guest specifications
- Participate in cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment and help maintain a clean and organize work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines include safe-handling of food items, knife safety, safe usage of kitchen equipment, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must have flexible schedule with open availability for holiday, days, weekends, and nights
- Ability to maintain standard attendance expectation
- Food Handler Certificate is preferred
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public
- Must be able to verbally communicate in English
- Must be able to read written instructions in English
- Must be able to multi-task prep items (cook something on the stove while chopping another item at your station)
- Previous kitchen experience is required
- Must be able to work in a clean and organized fashion with strict adherence to all safe food handling practices
- Must be able to work in a hot kitchen environment
- Ability to consistently produce quality prep with precision and strong knife technique
- Desire for career advancement preferred
- Active Food Handler certificate is preferred
