Project Overview
Over the past five years RFA has led federal, state and local government initiatives to shift public funding to important economic mobility outcomes, working in partnership with Blue Meridian Partners Place Matters and its investees who are strengthening the public sectors’ ability to partner with Place Based Partnerships (PBP). Building off a track record with these national organizations, as well as lessons from federal, state and local government successfully steering funding to speed progress on PBP economic mobility economic outcomes, Results for America will host a Senior Fellow who will spearhead the development and implementation of a plan – that includes specific strategies and policies – for federal and state public-private partnerships focused on achieving cradle-to-career outcomes through place-based partnerships.
Position Overview RFA seeks a Senior Fellow to spearhead the development and implementation of a plan, which includes specific strategies and policies, for federal and state public-private partnerships focused on achieving cradle-to-career outcomes through place-based partnerships. Hosted within RFA, the Senior Fellow will partner with leaders within several core partner institutions (collectively referred to as the Leadership Table) to identify and integrate relevant knowledge and expertise collectively, including Ballmer Group, Blue Meridian Partners, Partners for Rural Impact, Purpose Built Communities, Strive Together and William Julius Wilson Institute at the Harlem Children's Zone.
The Senior Fellow will play a critical role advancing shared priorities, formulating strategy, and ultimately creating avenues for public sector agencies, philanthropic community, and private sector companies to partner to advance economic mobility outcomes for children and families across the country.
Experience in federal and/or state government inter-agency partnerships, fundraising, complex program development, data-driven approaches to program leadership, the education sector, and understanding of place-based partnerships is critical.
This temporary (2 year) position is funded by external grant sources and is contingent upon the continued availability of such funding. Employment is for the duration of the grant period only.
This is a full time, exempt position, based in a home office anywhere within the United States. (New York City or Washington, DC preferred, with flexibility based on experience and ability to travel, up to 50%).
Position Reporting Relationship
The Senior Fellow, Public Private Partnerships reports to RFA’s CEO and will work closely with RFA’s Vice President and Federal Practice Lead and the Leadership Table and Working Groups of Blue Meridian Partners’ Place Matters fund.

Results for America offers a compensation package that includes:
The salary range for this position is $203,056 - $267,740.
New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
