Collaborate closely with the team to align storyboards with the game's narrative and artistic vision. This is a full-time 6-9 week contract opportunity. The role is located in Los Angeles, CA and is hybrid onsite . Storyboard Game Artist Responsibilities: Design and refine storyboards for first-person action sequences, enhancing the cinematic experience. Partner with the creative team to align storyboards with the game's narrative and artistic vision. Emphasize camera work to elevate the storytelling and visual impact. Convey mood, pacing, and action effectively through detailed storyboards. Incorporate feedback from the Art Director and team members to refine storyboards. Ensure visual style and storytelling consistency throughout the project. Storyboard Game Artist Requirements: Demonstrated experience as a Storyboard Artist in the gaming or film industry. Ability to work quickly in 2D animation and storyboarding with a strong focus on shot-based sequences. Strong understanding of cinematic techniques and camera work. Knowledgeable about composition rules such as the rule of thirds A robust portfolio highlighting expertise in first-person perspectives and action sequences. Proficiency in using storyboard software and tools. Deep understanding of camera work and cinematic techniques. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to feedback and iterate designs efficiently.
