Position: Video Analyst Intern - USL League Two & USL W League Location: Miami, Florida Department: Technical Staff Reports To: Head Coach / Lead Performance Analyst Type: Internship ($400 Stipend-based) Duration: May 8 - July 25, 2025 Hours: 15-20 hours/week, plus matchdays Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Video Analyst Intern to support our USL League Two & USL W League coaching and technical staff. This individual will assist with the filming, coding, and analysis of training sessions and matches to help optimize team and player performance. This is a hands-on, developmental role ideal for students or recent graduates in sports science, coaching, or related fields. Key Responsibilities: Film all home matches and training sessions using designated equipment Code match and training footage using video analysis software (e.g., Hudl, Wyscout, Veo Editor, Sportscode) Assist in the creation of team and individual highlight packages for performance reviews Support opposition scouting through film review and the development of visual scouting reports Tag tactical events (e.g., transitions, set pieces, pressing triggers) as requested by the coaching staff Maintain a library of video assets and ensure the timely delivery of materials to staff and players Participate in weekly staff meetings and contribute to video strategy planning Attend home and away games as needed (transportation provided when required) Preferred Qualifications: Enrolled in or completed a degree in Sports Science, Coaching, Data Analytics, or a related field Experience with video analysis software (Hudl, Wyscout, Veo, or equivalent) Solid understanding of soccer tactics and positional responsibilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines Passion for soccer and desire to pursue a career in performance analysis or coaching What You'll Gain: Hands-on experience with a nationally recognized USL League Two & W League program Direct mentorship from experienced coaches and analysts Portfolio development with real match and training analysis content Networking opportunities within professional soccer To Apply: Send your resume, a brief cover letter through teamwork.
