Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our collaborative healthcare team in Geneva, NY. In this full-time, employed position, you will provide comprehensive gastrointestinal care in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess and diagnose digestive health concerns and gastrointestinal disorders
• Perform endoscopic procedures, colonoscopies, and other diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures with precision and care
• Order, interpret, and analyze specialized diagnostic tests including imaging studies and laboratory results
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine
• Collaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, surgeons, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
• Review comprehensive patient medical histories and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic services

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures and colonoscopies
• Current or eligible for New York State medical license
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare team members
• Collaborative mindset with commitment to patient-centered care
• DEA certification or ability to obtain
